Over all we had a great experience with Octopus Home Solutions and are very happy with the outcome of the second phase of our attic renovation. We hired Octopus to install a dormered bathroom in our attic with a stand up shower. Although the project took a little longer than we initially expected and there were some things that needed to be redone, we kind of expected to hit some road blocks since this wasn’t our first renovation. Having worked with other companies in the past I will say that Andre is a top notch GC. He has a high standard and would come to check in on the work and progress often. You could tell that he genuinely cares about his clients being happy with the end result which is a trait we very much appreciated. The team was also flexible with timing since we have a toddler we asked that the work not start for the day until he was off to daycare. Andre and his team fully executed our vision, his rate was fair and there were no surprise costs upon completion. We would recommend hiring this team and we we’ll definitely be reaching out to Andre for future updates to our home!

Andre and his great crew did an awesome job on our basement apartment home improvement project. Andre and his team framed and finished an approximately 1,500 sq foot apartment with a new kitchen/great room, a bathroom, bedroom, a laundry closet, and a bunch of new closet space. The prices for Andre’s services and the subcontractors he managed(electric, plumbing, plaster) were reasonable and competitive. The team was fast, pleasant, and did a great job cleaning up the job site after each day of work.

Andre is super nice and communicative. I called and got a price for the work and a date was set. I had to have two pine door slabs installed and cut to a custom size on the sides and bottom, and also four new MDF doors to replace hollow core closet sliders, They did a great job and everything looks and works great.
