Octopus Home Solutions really good job of replacing our wooden deck with composite. OHS was one of the few contractors who gave a really precise quote with detailed descriptions of what the job entails.

I’ve had Andre and his guys do some work on my house in the past including patching walls, painting, installing some custom shelves, etc., but our next project together is a full bathroom remodel. I have absolutely no doubt that I’m going to love the results. Andre is patient, and genuinely cares that he’s delivering on exactly what I want. He took time out of his busy schedule to meet up with me at The Tile Shop (in Shrewsbury, shout out to them as well) to answer any and all questions I had, all the while assuring me that I don’t have to commit to anything I’m not 100% on. He even reworked the proposal estimate to adhere to my budget. He also has a good eye for what works and what doesn’t. Highly recommend.

Octopus was great and we wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. We got their help installing 6 doors – 1 where there was no door, 2 sliding door replacements, and 3 where they swapped out existing doors. Communication was great. The team was conscientious and produced great work. Octopus went above and beyond to make sure that we were delighted with the end product – including demonstrating creativity and ingenuity in helping us to solve our overarching goal (the goal of the project was to reduce sound from one room in the house to another). They were also gracious in helping out with a couple of other odds and ends along the way.

I had a great experience working with the guys at Octopus to make some repairs and upgrades to my space. My husband and I are the new owners of an old house. I hired Andre and co to repair some damage to a plaster ceiling, install ceiling planks over several peeling plaster ceilings, install some wood cladding on a blank wall, and install crown molding. Although the team had never done ceiling planks like this before, the output is fantastic—the room has a lot more character now! I’ve been involved in nonstop home renovation and improvement projects for several months now. All projects have delays and hit snags, but the Octopus crew was flexible, focused, and friendly throughout. For example: due to the house settling for 120 years, all of the ceilings met the walls at uneven angles. The team added custom brackets to the mounting rail system that came with the ceiling planks to even things out. When things took longer than expected, the team took real care to minimize the disruptions of living in a work site with concurrent projects. I’d definitely work with them again.

Andre and Octopus solution were able to open up a dividing wall to greatly enlarge the space for our future bathroom! Even though it was wall removal they kept the house very clean. Fair price and good quick work. Good design suggestions.

Andre and Denilson did a great job with multiple interior projects at our new house. First they replaced all baseboards in our house — it was such a good value and really made all the difference after we re-stained our floors to have fresh, thick baseboards. Next they did a board and batten accent wall in our dining room which came out amazing. Additionally they completely re designed our staircase to be modernized and we love it! They also built custom matching baby gates to keep our 1 year old baby safe from the stairs. Highly recommend these guys – really talented and can make “Pinterest” ideas a reality!
